You do not need a credit account to hire from us, we accept pre-payments by debit or credit card over the phone for all hires, however you can open a credit account with us at anytime.
Hired in Plant Insurance is an insurance that covers you for hiring in plant equipment e.g. a scissor lift, if you wish to take a policy out for this you would need to speak to your insurance company. Otherwise, facelift offer a collision damage waiver for all hires.
You should get a full day's use from an electric scissor lift or self propelled boom. Generally though, you will get around 2-3 hours of continuous use, however this is prolonged by charging on breaks and turning the equipment off once in position. We run full IPAF training courses daily and recommend you attend one of our courses to ensure you are using our equipment safely and efficiently.
We offer full IPAF, PASMA, CPC, Ladder, Asbestos Awareness, Harness Inspection and First Aid training courses. If you need a scissor lift or self propelled boom delivered at a certain time, our drivers are always happy to work around you and make sure you have your machine when you need it. We deliver early mornings, evenings and at weekends.
We work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing us to provide you with whatever you need, whenever you need it. Just give us a call and our 24 hour line will answer.
When we provide an operated quote we incorporate the machine and operator into that quote, and we will give the final price to you so there are no nasty surprises at the end of the hire.
Outreach is the horizontal distance that a self propelled boom or truck mount can reach across, and is measured from the centre of the machine, usually in metres.
Most of our hires are a minimum of 1 day, however as a company we will always do our best to accommodate to your needs, to provide the best service at a competitive rate.
Our experienced and professional operators always carry two spare harnesses to ensure your health and safety while working with our machines; allowing you and your staff to carry out their work in an effective manner.
You can hire most of our equipment for either one day, three days or a week, the choice is up to you!
We accept many credit and debit card types as method of payment for hire and training.
Yes we can, free of charge. Our specialist and professional site surveyors are ready to provide you with their expert knowledge of the industry, ensuring you have the machine most suitable for your needs.
Yes, we do ask that you clean the equipment at the end of hire. If the equipment is returned dirty then you will be liable for our reasonable cleaning charge.
The equipment will remain on hire and chargeable until it has been off hired. You will need to phone us to off hire the equipment, obtain an off hire reference and arrange collection.
You are responsible for the machine until it has been collected, and must ensure it is immobilised and in a securely locked compound.
If you take out our collision damage waiver, then you are covered third party only while driving our vehicle on the road.
You will need a transformer and lead to charge any electric machines. If you do not have your own you can purchase one from us at any time.
Yes, you can reserve any of our machines in advance and confirm the hire with us closer to the time.
