Boom lift keeps big wheel turning in Staffordshire
You can't go to a theme park or fairground without having a go on the big wheel. Drayton Manor in Tamworth, Staffordshire is home to an exceptional big wheel along with many other rides and attractions including the famous 'Thomas Land' with Thomas the tank engine.
Facelift Access Hire were called in to help with maintenance work to the big wheel during the winter period, the wheel structure needed to be disassembled for inspection and essential repairs. The Haulotte H25 TPX Self propelled boom was used for the task, this boom lift offers a rotating cage and fly jib for better access, a telescopic boom for greater reach on a machine this size and 4 wheel drive with 40% grade ability, ideal for rough terrain use.
The Boom lift finished this and a number of other work at height needs at the theme park with great efficiency, so much so that the theme park went on to purchase a brand new boom lift from us.
