Driver used cherry picker instead of stairs to get to car

Driver used cherry picker instead of stairs to get to car

Over in Stamford, Connecticut, a construction crew found its boom lift hijacked when an inpatient driver decided to use their cherry picker to get to his vehicle parked on the fifth floor of a multi-storey car park.

The individual, who obviously has heavy equipment experience, decided that walking up to the fifth floor of the parking garage was a bit too difficult and instead turned on the machine (also known as a cherry picker), jumped in the bucket and rose to the fifth floor to get to his vehicle and drive away. The fire department was eventually called to turn off the machine.
