Facelift has singled out Siemens VDO Trading to assist them in locating and improving the operation of their fleet of 350 machines. The system uses satellites to track the machine?s whereabouts all over the UK, and can zoom right down to street level if required.
The tracking system is so far fitted to around eighty of the Company?s platforms, and has proved invaluable in terms of operations, showing immediate financial savings, in terms of time and motion.
Operations Director Frank Page said ?The Company is extremely pleased with the result, so much so, it is now our intention to extend it into the entire fleet?
