Facelift make it 500
Facelift has celebrated delivery of its 500th machine the new Ascendant 17m which was received from Andy Northwood Managing Director of British based supplier Blue Line Access. Facelift started 22 years ago when MD Gordon Leicester chanced to see a local advert with an ex Hong Kong Fire Brigade platform for sale which he then bought. The company has now grown, has a 13 million pound turnover, employs 160 personnel, with depots in Liverpool, Harrogate, Birmingham, Southampton, Hickstead, East and West London. . Mr Leicester said 'I'm genuinely pleased to reach this landmark and am quietly confident with the company's present market place position. We're continually looking for further new equipment to add to our fleet as well as additional sites, but of course we're also looking forward to the next 500'. With planned capital expenditure of 5 million pounds for 2007, Facelift look set to continue to carve out a strong strategy for growth in the forthcoming year.
