Miami, USA was graced by the great and the good of the powered access industry last week as over 350 industry professionals from across the world turned out for the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA).

Big industry names in attendance included Michael Kneeland, CEO of United Rentals; Brad Boehler, Skyjack president; Matt Fearon, Terex AWP president; and Tim Hatch, vice president of engineering at JLG, all of whom presented awards. The evening also saw Steve Couling make his first appearance as the new IPAF president.

Facelift sponsored the Access Photograph of the Year category, which was awarded to Paul Tynan, an employee of Australian firm Summit Tower Hire. He was recognised for his stunning picture of a Bronto Skylift S70-XDT at the MacArthur Wind Farm in the state of Victoria.
