Newcastle celebrates Chinese New Year

With celebrations in progress for Chinese New Year - the year of the rabbit, Facelift Access Hire were called in to ensure the Chinese arch in Stowell Street Newcastle was looking its best for the big day on the 6th Feb.
There were many things to enjoy on the day, traditional crafts, dance - martial arts - food and drink and games, culminating in a vibrant and colourful party in and around Stowell Street, where you could watch the spectacular dragon, lion and unicorn dances under the ornate Ceremonial Arch, and hear firecrackers explode, taste delicious Oriental foods, and witness amazing traditional performances and join in the excitement of this joyful event! 2011 is the year of the rabbit!
