After an absence of four years as a stand holder at the show managing director Gordon Leicester wanted something special. ?We decided on a theme for the stand rather than the usual ?show room? style display favoured by other exhibitors, plus we wanted to show off some of our new specialist equipment which would have been impossible to show in their working configurations had we had chosen a more traditional route?. The Facelift stand consisted of a section of dual carriageway (complete with street lights and cats eyes), a canal, bridge, rocks, staircase, beer garden and visitors were able to see videos of some of the machines in action as well on a large plasma screen. The stand displayed the Moog MBI 230X and MBI 40 underbridge inspection units, Aichi 14 self drive truck mount, Wumag WT300 4x4 truck mount and the brand new Niftylift X-Trax 12 ?We certainly had a lot of visitors to the stand and the interest in the machines on display was phenomenal. What could not be seen was all the work that went on to make it as successful as it was, and I would like to thank everyone for all their hard work.? Said Gordon
