A recent IPAF Training Course at our Liverpool Training Centre had the honour of training Tim Jackson, who will shortly be on his way out to the Antarctic. Tim is employed as an electrician, and will be carrying out maintenance for the British Antarctic survey teams, he will be flying by military transport to the Falklands where he will pick up his transport ship that will take him to the Antarctic.
He is going to be based there for the next 16 months and will be leaving in November so he is under the impression that he will not be back until March 2013. After successfully completing his course and being issued with a Facelift high viz vest, he has promised he would send us back a photo of him wearing it. Good luck Tim!
