A cherrypicker had its moment in the spotlight in Mumbai last month, when it was brought out to rescue stranded rail passengers.
Monorail passengers in the Indian city came to a standstill for four hours on Sunday morning due to a power failure. When efforts to pull the stranded train to the nearest station failed, a cherry picker was brought in to launch a rescue mission. It brought eleven occupants of the train, including the driver, safely back down to ground level.
