CPC Courses – Time is running out!
Time is running out for drivers who haven’t completed their CPC courses yet. 10 September 2014 is the final date for HGV drivers to complete the mandatory 35 hours training in order to meet the approved Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) training.
Whether they’ve been in the industry for twenty years or two weeks, all professional drivers of vehicles of more than 3.5 tonnes must undertake this training every five years in order to ensure that their Driver CPC remains valid.
An initiative designed to drive up safety standards by making training a mandatory requirement, a typical CPC course will cover topics such as such as road safety, fuel economy, health and safety and service.
In response to the new requirements, Facelift are offering the CPC Core modules, for those who just need to complete their CPC training (e.g. drivers), or a selection of Professional CPC courses that help trainees make the most of their training time by also providing them with either an IPAF, PASMA, Ladder or First Aid Training certificate. Similarly, our one day training courses can have CPC built in for just £50 + VAT.
