Facelift and ISS hit the heights at Gatwick
After winning the facilities management contract for both the North and South terminal at Gatwick airport, ISS contacted Facelift in August with requirements for scissor lifts to assist them in the maintenance of both terminals.
Russell Woodward, Facelift’s Sales Manager, visited ISS at Gatwick Airport to discuss which machines would be best suited to the tasks at hand and quickly identified exactly what they needed. He commented:
“When looking around the areas ISS required access to carry out cleaning and maintenance at Gatwick, it was clear that an electric, narrow access machine with a good amount of working height was needed.
“The Skyjack SJ3226 is perfect for this as its 0.8m width and 10m working height meant ISS would have no issues accessing areas with restricted access, with the roll out extension deck still allowing enough cage space for an employee to work comfortably with any tools or equipment that is needed".
As a UK main dealer for Skyjack, Facelift were able to supply ISS with 2 new Skyjack SJ3226, one for each terminal, within a week of their order being placed.
