Facelift becomes CITB-approved Training Organisation
Facelift is now a Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
This means that any business registered with the CITB can now automatically receive grants for any recognised training courses delivered by Facelift. This currently includes IPAF, PASMA and Ladder Association training, with other courses expected to be added in due course.
Grants start from £30 per course for the PASMA, Ladder Association and IPAF Harness training sessions and are up to £70+Vat for the full day IPAF courses. Facelift customers just need to provide the learners’ details at the time of booking and we will do the rest.
This means that members of the CITB can be assured that the training delivered by Facelift will meet the very high standards required by the national training board for the sector. Employees who undertake CITB-approved courses with Facelift will also have their qualifications registered on the Construction Training Register, an online database listing the training undertaken by construction industry professionals.
Established in 1964, the CITB was set up to help address skills shortages in the construction industry in England, Scotland and Wales and support a safe, professional and fully qualified industry.
With the aim of attracting and retaining talent in the construction industry, the non-departmental public body is funded by a levy from industry and supports training and skills development in firms of all sizes across a wide range of specialisms.
