Facelift recently had the honour in assisting with a special job, when the team was asked to help a street artist to reach the required height to produce a mural in honour of the victims of the recent Manchester Arena attacks.
The artist, Russell Meeham, also known as Qubek, created a huge image of 22 of Manchester’s famous worker bees surrounding a heart simply saying ‘MCR’. Each bee represents one of the lives lost in the terrorist attack. He said he simply wanted to create something simple but effective for the street art, which is in the heart of the city’s busy Northern Quarter.
The mural can be viewed on Oldham Street, Manchester.
