Facelift passes Achilles Link Up Audit
Facelift has just passed the Achilles Link Up rail audit, which allows it to sponsor its own staff to work on the trackside of railways.
One of the world’s leading global supply chain risk management companies, Achilles collects, validates and maintains essential supplier data through an online questionnaire. This information then allows buying organisations to understand the risks in their supply chain, enabling them to put measures in place to protect their business, people, planet and profit.
The audit reviews management systems with regards quality, environment, health, sustainability & CSR, safety and carbon management in order to assess whether the business reaches the required standards for working on railways.
Discussing the audit, Paul Standing, Managing Director of Facelift commented: “This is a very difficult thing for a company that doesn’t work on railways as a core part of its business to pass. As far as I’m aware, we are one of just two powered access companies in England that have actually passed this audit.
“And the reason we passed it is down to the hard work and attention to detail shown by one member of staff - Jen Oliver. Thank you, Jen.”
