Facelift team go nuts for Home start CHAMS
Members of the Facelift team will be put through their paces on the 31st August, when they take part in the NUTS Challenge - a muddy assault course - in order to raise money for Home Start Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex (CHAMS).
All money raised by the challenge will help to support families where there are issues such as isolation, neglect, financial hardship, illness, disability, bereavement or multiple births. By providing friendship and a listening ear, the registered charity helps parents to ensure they can give their child the best start possible.
This isn’t the first time the Facelift team has mucked in to raise money for the centre. Managing Director Gordon Leicester raised money when he was ‘locked up’ at Crawley Police Station last year until a ‘ransom’ of £1,000 for the charity was raised, and Hire Desk Manager Viv Bristow’s husband even completed an abseil down the Sofitel hotel, Gatwick Airport to raise money for the organisation.
