Man on tin roof has total disregard for health and safety
Spotted this week in Derbyshire, in the UK, a man working on the side of a building by leaning over the edge of the roof, when he is just 100 metres from an aerial work platform supplier.
The man is around six to eight metres up and has gained access to the roof by balancing a ladder on top of a refrigeration service unit. Due to the picture quality we cannot see exactly how he managed to climb off the ladder and onto the roof, but as we all know this can be a real challenge in itself. Possibly the worst aspect of this is that the company involved is a national truck service and body work company, Marshall fleet services , that almost certainly knows better.
He was working on a roof on a building opposite. He had no harness, no edge protection and the most scariest thing is that entry onto the roof was gained by using a ladder, on top of a gantry they use for servicing fridge units on top of refrigeration lorries.
If he fell then he would have been in for a nasty accident.
