Cherry picker stolen from brewery

A cherry picker has been stolen from Samuel Smith's Brewery in Tadcaster. North Yorkshire Police reported that thieves entered the site in a white van and hooked up to a trailer which was carrying the cherry picker, before driving away. A Yorkshire council has been fined after an employee was injured when he fell from a ladder. Hull Magistrates’ Court heard how an employee of East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) fell from a ladder while descending from a porch roof which was being re-felted.
