Safety harness user and inspection training courses - book now
MEWPs are one of the most useful access solutions on the market, and if used correctly with the correct PPE, one of the safest. For this reason HSE legislation requires MEWP-users to wear a full body harness with a short lanyard.
Our half-day theory course enables delegates to identify and select the correct type of harness, be able to inspect and - of course - put it to use.
Areas covered will include the Health and Safety at Work Act, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) regulations, CE Marking, EN Standards, Hazard analysis and risk assessment.
Delegates will also learn more about the three categories for safe work at height, the loads generated by working with MEWPs and fall arrest.
Courses can be held on your own site or at any of our Training Centres, situated in Newcastle*, Liverpool*, Birmingham, East London*, South London*, Hickstead (West Sussex), Ashford, (Kent)* & Southampton. (*Indoor Training Centre). Delegates will be assessed with a written test at the end of the course and successful candidates will receive a certificate.
