The Bridge over the River Cree
Facelift was tasked with a large job over the border this month, as Dumfries & Galloway Council called it in to carry out repair work on a bridge over the River Cree. Facelift was selected for the job because of its extensive selection of underbridge units. For this job, the Moog 120 bridge inspection unit was used.
The Moog 120 is perfect for carrying out under-bridge repairs or inspections because it allows bridge inspections on a carriageway in one pass, therefore reducing costs for traffic management and improving work efficiency. It has a platform that can extend by up to 12 metres, with a built-in hydraulic drive system which allows the entire platform to be moved with precision, even when fully extended.
