If you’re likely to be working in challenging conditions, you could do much worse than hiring in the Niftylift X Trax120TN an especially narrow tracked machine or the 170 for extra reach, both machines combine surprising capabilities with a spec that makes them perfect for a variety of applications.

This pieces of kit provide excellent traction on steep or rough terrain, and offers 60 per cent gradeability, so can be used in the most demanding environments.

One of the main advantages of the Nifty 120 is that it’s perfect for working in tighter spots, as it will pass through a 0.75m opening for restricted access applications.

Rubber-free urethane tracks can be attached for indoor work, meaning that the TD120TN can be used virtually anywhere, a real advantage for this type of kit where sometimes the hard-gripping specification can make it unsuitable for indoor work. The machine also has a 225kg safe working load meaning that there’s plenty of capacity for tools to be stored in the machine.

There are a lot of economic benefits attached to using this piece of kit too. Its weight-saving design means it uses significantly less fuel, meaning that site-to-site transportation is more efficient and the machine can work for much longer on less fuel.
