Facelift Access Hire opens New Liverpool Training Centre
Facelift has opened a new depot in Kirkby, Liverpool, creating 20 new jobs in the area.
The new facility has an indoor work at height training centre developed in response to a growing demand for good quality work at height safety training providing courses from the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), the Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association (PASMA) and the Ladder Association.
Training will run daily, and be delivered by the company’s onsite specialists. It will take place in a dedicated 5,000 sq ft, 12.5 metre high building in the company’s depot.
“Our expertise, continual re-investment in the quality of our equipment and reputation for delivering a first-class service means we’ve quickly become very successful in every area of the country we operate in, and we expect our new Liverpool Depot to be a similar story.
“Even more exciting is the launch of our indoor training school. The best businesses know that health and safety training isn’t optional, it should be at the core of any strategy. Good training doesn’t just ensure your employees all make it home at the end of the day; it can also improve your company’s productivity and improve the confidence of all staff involved in work at height activity.
Speaking about the launch of the indoor training school, Ewan Smith, manager of Facelift’s Kirkby depot, added: “Safety is paramount when working at height, so being able to offer a ‘one stop shop’ for both health and safety training, and equipment hire is already proving very popular with our customers. We’ve had enquiries from as far afield as Scotland, and from everyone from construction contractors to tree surgeons.”
