September 2014 deadline for CPC Driver training

September 2014 deadline for CPC Driver training

All professional drivers of vehicles more than 3.5 tonnes, whether veterans of the industry or new starters, must undertake 35 hours of training every five years to ensure that their Driver CPC remains valid.

Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is an initiative intended to drive up safety standards by making training a mandatory requirement.

This periodic training covers the minimum requirements of the legislation, including subjects such as road safety, fuel economy, health and safety and service, and must be delivered in blocks lasting a minimum of seven hours.

In response to the new requirements, Facelift are offering the CPC Core modules, for those who just need to complete their CPC training (e.g. drivers), or a selection of Professional CPC courses that help trainees make the most of their training time by also providing them with either an IPAF, PASMA, Ladder or First Aid Training certificate. Similarly, our one day training courses can have CPC built in for just £50 + VAT.
